We have fully integrated Solar Module Manufacturing facilities and Solar Electronics. Manufacturing facility is based upon the lamination technology for terrestrial use using glass as super state and includes complete steps for production from full solar cells as well as cut solar cells for power. We have latest technological production facilities for solar module manufacturing from the highest module range up to 250 Wp with basic annual production capacity of 20 MWp. NEASE have the installed production capacity of 20MWp per annum and producing solar modules ranging from 10W to 250W with up to 300 units per day per shift. The facilities will enhance the capacity up to 50 MWp by 2011 with minimum expansion.

We have the facilities for streamlined production with prime aim of achieving production to full install and balanced capacity with rejections at international levels with final product yield @ 98%. We have standard quality control facilities and introduced procedures and documentations with aim to produce modules qualified for Indian and international standards.

The solar cells will be tested for the power output Pmax in the solar cell tester and selected against the order requirements. Apart from the cell electrical test the cells will tested visually against the QA standards and color segregation will be done. The below picture shows the solar cell tester.

PV module is a array of solar cells. Photovoltaic cell interconnection, called stringing or   tabbing, and the second step, PV module assembly, is called bussing. Tabbing and bussing are two applications that link individual solar cells together to form a solar module (or solar panel).

These applications also provide a method to transfer power from the solar cells to a power  output, the junction box. Solar cell interconnect occurs when individual solar cells are joined together with tabbing ribbon (also called stringing ribbon), forming a cluster of solar cells. This is frequently referred to as cell tabbing (or stringing). The tabbing ribbon carries the solar cell’s current to a larger ribbon, the bus ribbon, which then carries power from the cell clusters to the module’s junction box for final output.

Lay up – cut the EVA, fiberglass, and back cover to length and assemble them with the glass and cell circuits after visually inspecting and electrically testing the module circuit by measuring its dark I-V characteristics
